This is the 2nd annual STEAMabration Event ” A celebration of all things STEAM!” on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Energy Innovation Center main lot from 12pm-3pm.

This is an open invitation to be an exhibitor at the inaugural STEAMabration event, a collaborative effort between The Citizen Science Lab, Urban Innovation21 and Duquesne University. A free community event celebration all things STEAM! An event where families and children of all ages can experience Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.

Celebrate STEAM with The Citizen Science Lab, A hands-on laboratory where inquisitive minds and science-enthusiasts can explore the life sciences! The Citizen Science Lab is open to everyone—from middle and high school students, to parents and educators, to undergraduate and graduate students, to professionals and DIY scientists. We invite the citizens of Pittsburgh to observe, experiment and analyze through discovery-based learning and STEM education. Recognizing the need to encourage STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Last year’s participants included: Digital Corps, TechShop, Sisters e S.T.E.A.M., Animal Rescue League, Pitt Tissue Engineering Camp, Steel City LUG (Lego User Group), and Carnegie Science Center Mobile FabLab.
