DreamFest, will kick off with an exclusive premier of The Citizen Science Lab documentary, For Da’ Culture at Duquesne University. This premier will be exclusively for supporters and sponsors of The Citizen Science Lab!
For Da’ Culture is a private screening of the release of TCSL’s new documentary charting the growth and future of TCSL’s award-winning STEM programming. In addition to celebrating the impact of TCSL in the community and sharing our exciting plans for the future, this closed event is a chance for our past sponsors and community stakeholders to network around STEM activities in our city and rally support for Project Dream-our capital campaign for our new space in the Hill District.

During this second day of DreamFest, TCSL is inviting the community to join us in celebrating the rich history and promising future of our organization. As part of this special occasion, we have arranged a public screening of our new documentary, For Da’ Culture.
TCSL will also unveil the exciting plans for our new space in the Hill District. This new facility represents a significant milestone for TCSL, as it will provide an expanded platform for scientific exploration, innovation, and collaboration. The unveiling will showcase the architectural designs, state-of-the-art equipment, and interactive features that will empower future generations of scientists and thinkers.

On Saturday, July 29, 2023, families will have the opportunity to participate in a FREE event including exciting rides and interactive science events in an environment where families can spend quality time while learning about STEM through hands-on experiments and entertainment at our Dream Festival!
DreamFest is not just any ordinary community festival, it is a celebration of innovation and creativity in Pittsburgh! With the integration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) at its core, DreamFest offers a unique and interactive experience for attendees of all ages.
This festival, designed to ignite the imagination and spark a passion for STEAM, will feature live entertainment combined with thrilling rides, games, hands-on experiments, and resource tables. Through collaboration with local schools, community organizations, and businesses, DreamFest aims to inspire and promote STEM education.
This festival, held at the historic MLK Center and future TCSL state-of-the art STEM site, will provide a fun and engaging way for families to come together and learn about the role that science and technology play in shaping our future.
