- The Citizen Science Lab does not offer cash or card refunds for program cancellations by the registrant or registrant’s guardian. Payment may be converted into a credit to be used by a future TCSL program or event, at TCSL staff’s discretion.
- Credits are valid through the end of the same season for the following year. For instance, a credit from Summer Camp 2021 would be valid for all Summer Camps in 2022 as well, regardless of the exact date of the camp. Credits that are not used by that date will be forfeited.
- If an individual program is canceled by The Citizen Science Lab due to extenuating circumstances or insufficient registrations, participants will be offered the choice between a full refund, credits towards a future program (as listed above), or a transfer to a comparable program if one is available.
- If an entire program series is canceled, the above information still applies. If a single session of a paid program series is canceled, participants will receive a refund for the estimated value of that individual session.
- Cancellations for programs paid with credits will only be refunded with further credits.
- No refund or financial incentive will be offered in the program was offered at no cost.
- Scholarships are not transferrable towards a new program if the initial program is cancelled.
- Cancellations must be made by emailing us at [email protected]. If cancellation email is not received by TCSL prior to the program start time, all refund possibilities are forfeited.
Group Programs:
- Group programs canceled by the group or group leader will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the program cost if the program is canceled less than two weeks in advance of the program date. Cancellations greater than two weeks in advance can be cancelled at no cost.
- If a program is canceled by The Citizen Science Lab due to extenuating circumstances participants will be offered the choice between a full refund, or credits towards a future program (as listed above)
